Small Business Website

The Brief:

Design a website for a small business, of your choice, that provides a service/ product. Making sure to include a design layout that looks enticing and professional along with all the pages necessary to function as a professional website, that can be easily navigated by the consumers.

Design Concept:

The concept of the website, that I had chosen, was to create a platform based on the services of a whale-watching tour company. The name that was chosen for the small business was 'WOW (World Of Whales) Whale-Watching'. Through in depth research of competitors and looking at the layouts of websites, it has allowed me to create a brand identity for the company which entails all the colours to be utilised, fonts that are very clear and easy-to-read, along with a custom-made logo to fit the purpose of the intended small business. All coming together to create a simple website layout with professional aesthetics, that is enticing and easy for the clients to navigate through.

Tools Used:

Adobe Illustrator was used in the development of the logo for the, intended, small business. Adobe Photoshop was used for the optimisation of the images needed for the website. WIX was the website builder platform used to create the website.
